First Blog Post!

Hi! So nice that you’ve landed on my little corner of the internet!

I’m Lotte, coffee lover, journalism student, and someone who really enjoys baking (yes, it’s possible, even in a tiny student kitchen)!

I started this blog because, before I began my studies, I was looking for stories about what it’s really like to study journalism. I couldn’t find any, and after I decided to go for journalism anyway, I thought: why not write it down myself for future people who are wondering whether this is the right study for them. So this blog is about the real deal: the struggles, deadlines, and everything in between.

Besides my studies, I try to find time to work on the book I’m writing (exciting!) and also test out new baking recipes, in a way-too-small student kitchen.

On BlondeBlogger you’ll find all sorts of things: stories about studying (journalism), tips for student life, easy and budget-friendly recipes that work in a mini student kitchen, and now and then an update (if I find the time) about the book I’m writing.
